juvenile eagles

A photo of a pair of juvenile eagles I saw yesterday by the burn pile. There were about eight of them [juvenile and full-grown], but most of them flew away when I came up to take photos. These three hung around and stared at us until we left.

I also saw a black bear today! I'll put up some photos of that later!

just to tide you over

Ah. The Justin we all know and love. His hair. So great.

And then there's Jesse Johnson. I totally gushed all over him after this concert. :] embarassing.

Motion City Soundtrack/ Cordova

Sooo I'm in Cordova. Finally. After an hour or so at SFO, a couple hours at SEA-TAC, a couple more in Anchorage, I'm here, in Jessyka and Jonah's beautiful home with Jessyka and the Bump [aka, Harper Joyce]! So I'm going to have a billion photographs from this trip [I'm here til Saturday!], but I probably won't get to them til next week. Buuut I also have 200+ photos from last night, but again, I probably won't be posting them til next week as well! Sorry :/ But I do have this shot to share! :]

"It's just a simple truth...

...The shedding of a lifetime of layers that once embodied you
Like winter into spring and summer into fall
The cycle of intense introspection before the curtain call
Cause everyone must die and everyone must lose
So who you going to love in meantime before it catches you?"

-- Everyone Will Die from "GO"

After a devastatingly unsuccessful trip to Hot Topic [well not entirely, Karla got herself some fancy buttons], we prevailed at Best Buy. The guy at Hot Topic tried to convince us that no one in the region [California, Oregon or Nevada] had the album for whatever reason, but we called his bullshit. And thank god for that. We only have four more days [four more dayyyys!] to memorize this newest release before we see the guys live again! And at Slim's, none the less, which means we'll be right up in the action! oh and I finished my last final today. Now I just gots to finish up my writing class portfolio by Thursday evening [so, of course, I probably won't touch it again until Thursday afternoon] and move the frick out of my dorm room [finallyyy!] and then it's summer! Well.... it's summer until I start working and taking summer classes.. but oh well :]

GO.. listening to it as I type!!!

...Hooray for the madness, we are better by design,

Let's hope we'll never have to say goodbye,

Say goodbye."
