tonight

Tonight I'm going to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers live at the Oracle Coliseum in Oakland with my friend Karla! We were supposed to go way back in February, but the entire tour was postponed due to Anthony Kiedis getting surgery on his right foot. But I really have nothing to complain about because I'm going at all because they added a second Oakland date after their first show sold out [before I could get a ticket, so of course they added a new date so I could go]. I'm just so glad that they rescheduled the Oakland dates to be before Karla or I leave to study abroad! Soooo here's what tonight will look like [will hopefully look like, because I don't think we have the best seats]:

Flashlight Photography

SmelL.A.

I went to LA with my friend Wally a couple of weekends ago and just now decided to blog about it. Yay me! Well we started our trip at 6am on Saturday morning [after spending Friday night at the Shoreline seeing the Band Perry live!], got into LA around noon and went straight to the beach. Wally helped me overcome my fear of being pummeled by waves [by letting me be pummeled by waves so I could see that it wasn't that scary] and I spent by far the longest time in the ocean continuously ever. And it was pretty fun. Then we laid out for a while to dry off, and for me, to get radiantly sunburnt. Then it was to Wally's family's house for his brother's graduation party. I had fun playing card games and foosball. Later that night, we drove around and took some sweet night photos and even sat in a rocket ship play structure until the cops kicked us out [the park was closed]. The next morning, we went to the Redondo Beach Pier to walk around and eat pizza. Then it was on to Diddy Riese in Westwood Village near UCLA before getting back on the road to drive back to the bay. Suffice it to say, it was a quick trip, but it was super fun and definitely worth it.
