Danny, ever since my second-ever race on March 12th, 2011, I have dedicated every race I've competed in to you. Today, on your 22nd birthday, we clocked our fastest time of the season at 6:18.9. I'd like to think that you were there with me the whole time.

ReplyDeleteWe did! so we got first in the petite finals for JV eight, so technically seventh overall. But our finish time was faster than the fifth and sixth boats in the grand finals! it felt so good to finally win a race!!
