Foxy Shazam/Maniac

Holy shit. The Foxy Shazam/Maniac/Cadaver Dogs concert I went to last night [with ma friend Jenn] was a-maze-ing. It was completely insane. All three bands were incredible. I went to the concert mostly for Maniac [and Shawn Harris, formerly of the Matches], who certainly didn't disappoint with a stage presence that is best describe with one simple word: happy. They just looked so gosh darn happy to be playing music with each other and in front of a crowd. The entire set, they had such giant smiles ripping across their faces that I couldn't help but have a matching huge, goofy smile plastered across my face the entire time as well. As for Foxy, insane is all I can say to describe. But I got some sweet pictars [I didn't even attempt bringing my film camera this time since it was such a bust at the Wallpaper. concert] that hopefully will explain better than I ever could. Or even better, go to a friggin' Foxy concert! Seriously. This tour was one of the best I've been to [and the hairiest] in such a very long time. I was so worth the lack of sleep I'm now functioning on [and took a French test on, aced that shit], the amount of work I have tonight since I did none last night, and the general embarrassment I experienced trying to be coherent around a certain musician :]

Pictars:
El Camino! El El Camino!

So mad that guy's arm is in the way of the insane drummer.

They moved way too much for me to get a good picture!
But it was a-okay because that's what made their set so much fun!

Shadows and light #artsyshit

For some reason, I was terribly attracted to this brass player
I also fell in love with the bassist's hair.

This kid had cookies and kept trying to give them to
the bands. And he was so friggin' tall.

Would've been such an epic shot if it wasn't for that guy's head. He ruined a couple
of my pictures, but I can't blame him for being so into the show. I know I was.
Currently listening to... Greensleaves by Mantorani. Why? Because I can. And because it's the first song on my itunes library after Maniac. ahahha
