Santa Clara University's beautiful campus [when it rains!]

Hokay so today was preeeetty stressful. I left my french essay to this morning because I thought that our morning practice [since it was just erging in Leavey, and not heading out to Lexington] would be done in an hour or so, but alas, it was nearly two hours long [including breakfast with my boys. I missed after-practice breakfasts oh so much!] so at 9am, I started my essay. Honestly, I planned on doing a lot this morning, and even if practice would've been finished by 8am, I wouldn't have been able to do it all [I had to write my essay, I wanted to go to Malley, I needed to shower, and I wanted to take a little nap; two outta four ain't bad though].
I got back to my room, trudged through my essay and decided to shower at the exactly middle of when the bathroom on my floor gets clean. Great. It was either want twenty more minutes to shower or use the weird co-ed bathroom that I'm not too confident in the lock of. Well, you know me, of course I chose the adventure of the co-ed bathroom, but shower in about three minutes so I'd be out of there before someone else decided to shower in there and would've possibly walked in on me. So then I went to chemistry class at 10:30 then raced back to my room to get my phone [so forgetful] before my philosophy class at 11:45 [with prof. Kulp, who is amazing with a thick mid-west accent and a wicked twitch] and then onto french class at 1pm.
Usually next I'd go to my fictional writing class, but we had conferences today instead of class, in which we developed a character that we will be focusing on in our first short story. The conference was pretty great. My professor and I bounced so many ideas off each other that my conference took double the time it was supposed to and gave me enough material for a short book, let alone a short story.
Then I fed Conor and Brooks [and now I'm a week short on meal points. golly.] but didn't eat myself because I decided to use my extra time to go to Malley and bike since I hadn't that morning. So I biked for a while then realized that practice was in like twenty minutes, so I rushed through another shower [while shaving my legs and washing my hurrr, only took like ten minutes too] and got to practice just before Vees. And being as it was Monday, I had to peace out on practice early to make it in time for lab [which I was one minute late for] and then be in lab til around eight. By this time I was so friggin' hungry and tired that I could hardly appreciate the incredible beauty of my campus in the rain at night. It's so fresh and well... reflective. if that makes sense. ahahah Well so I took some pictures [which I'll show latah] on my way from Daly to Benson and ordered a yummy Bronco burger [veggie patty, no cheese, no sauce, extra pickles please!], but it took sooo long to get my order. I very nearly broke down and cried in the middle of the Bronco because I was so hungry and just wanted my freaking food.
So I finally got my food and I brought it back to my room and now I'm here, grubbing and blogging :] but I gotta get to bed so [6:15am water practice. eeekkk!] I can actually get a decent number of hours of zzz's tonight.

Oh but in the spirit of the fact that my blog posts usually have a least a little bit to do with my title, hurr are some pictars I took of Santa Clara University's campus glistening with some spectacular Oregon weather!:

my boys :]

oh umbrellas.

  4. Aren't those pictures magical? I seriously had the biggest grin smeared across my face that entire day. I'm pretty sure I scared people. hahah but now that it's been rainy for the past couple days, it's not as exciting, but it's sooo awesome to be able to wear jeans and sweaters again!
